Patrick Grissom, LCDC, Master Life coach
My name is Patrick Grissom and I
have been a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor since 2000. I have been working in Treatment since 1994. I have a degree in Addiction Counseling. I have dedicated the last 20 plus of my life to helping others who have fallen under the influence of every kind of substance use disorder a variety of treatment modalities to move clients to recovery.
My experience has been as diverse as my clients. I have worked those in Prisons, Therapeutic Communities, Inpatient treatment programs, Intensive
outpatient programs, Outpatient treatment, Occurring treatment programs,
Behavioral Health Hospital, Recovery Court, HIV / STD program, and Medication
Assisted Treatment would I have been well rounded in the
Substance modalities.
I am currently the Program Director of Axcel Treatment and Recovery Clinic (MAT), and a member of NAADAC, United States Association of Opioid Treatment Providers, Texas Association of
Addiction Providers (TAAP), and Grayson County Social Services Association...
I have presentations TAAP, Recovery court, and several treatment
programs.

10 years ago, this year, I met Patrick who became my counselor at the House of Hope. I entered his counseling with 11 months sober, but only due to incarceration. As a single
mother getting out of jail for almost a year it was extremely hard, as there were many
burdens and many trials.
I don't think I could have done it Without his help. He taught me how to cope and, he taught me how to redirect. I became a better mother, daughter, and wife. And for that I’ll always be grateful!
